The SG60 Art Contest is organised by AAS to celebrate Singapore's 60th birthday and it is opens to all artists aged 4 and above around the world.

Theme: SG60
In celebration of Singapore's 60th Birthday, we invite all artists aged 4 and above to take part in the Singapore 60th Birthday Art Contest. Whether through painting, digital art, mixed media, or sketching, artists can express their vision of Singapore's transformation from a young nation to a global city. Join us in telling the story of Singapore through your art — and help shape the image of our shared future.

Entry Details

No submissions will be accepted from 6pm on 31 July 2025.
Artwork Requirements
-
Artworks that the contestants produce must be of A3 Size
-
Participants may use any art mediums - pencil, colour pencil, graphite, charcoal, pen, markers, acrylic paint, oil paint, watercolour paint, poster paint, Chinese ink, Digital Art etc.

Participants may combine and use multiple mediums.

The artwork should be created on a piece of paper/watercolour paper, rice paper.

The artwork should be an original work produced by the participant for this art competition. The artwork should be produced from May 2025.

The contestants may freely express their artistic creativity in response to the art competition. The created artwork should adhere to the theme of the art competition and submissions which are inappropriate to the theme will not be considered.

The artwork should be an original work and not a copy from an existing photograph or artwork. Hence, a participant may be forfeited if the artwork is found to be a direct reproduction of an existing photograph or artwork.
Judging & Grading Percentage
The jury panel compromise experienced senior artists that will judge according to the following criteria:
1. Theme: 12%
2. Creativity: 12%
3. Skills: 12%
4. Aesthetic of Work: 12%
5. Proportion of Artwork: 12%
6. Perspective: 10%
7. Cleanliness: 10%
8. Colour Combination: 10%
9. Lines: 10%
Awards
The following awards will be given to each age category:

Gold Award: 1

Silver Award: 2

Bronze Award: 3

Rising Young Artist Award: 5

Most Creative Award: 5

Commendation Award: 5
*Each participant will receive a digital participating certificate.
*All participating organisations will be presented with certificate.
*All gold, silver and bronze award winners will receive a certificate of award and a trophy.
*All other award winners will receive a certificate of award and a Medal.

*AAS Little Artists Club Member: SGD 18
Non-Member: SGD 28 (NOT AAS Member)
International participants (Out of Singapore) : USD 20 / ¥150
Payment
Please use scan & pay or bank transfer to make payment. The confirmation email will be sent you once we received the payment.

There will be NO review of results. The organiser and judging panel’s decision is final. However AAS as organiser has the absolute right to disqualify the winners anytime in terms of provide false information, authenticity of artwork submission, defying the authority of organiser and contempt and integrity of the organiser etc.
